The Head of PMO and Implementation will have extensive experience in Project Management, will manage and mentor team members, assess and manage resource loads, and drive organizational effectiveness and accountability. The Head of PMO and Implementation also facilitates planning, prioritization and collaboration between groups, and maintains excellent communication with all levels of management and clients. Additionally, the Head of PMO and Implementation develops and enforces efficient and effective methods and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Ensures that all projects are proceeding according to timelines, scope and budget.
• Negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines
• Identifies, secures, and coordinates implementation of resources and expertise as appropriate to achieve project objectives
• Develops, communicates, and enforces project management standards and best practices
• Collaborates with functional areas in the supervision of project personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions
• Manages Key Performance Indicators and reports on these metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensures all projects adhere to the company’s software development lifecycle guidelines
• Conducts project audits in coordination with Finance.
• Conducts project reviews with Senior Leadership of the company, including planned vs actual for project cost, schedule, budget and milestone progress
• Evaluate the PMO and Implementation division structure and team and plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals
• Lead the design, development and delivery of effective business applications.
• Unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes.
• Lead design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management.
• Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
• Manage application design through the various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex projects
• Demonstrates strong project budgeting and capacity planning skills
• Expertise in Agile methods, Project governance, Release Management, and Capacity Planning
• Written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
• Team-building skills with technical and non-technical staff
• Agile experience and Project Management Institute certification (PMP) preferred
• Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
