Optometry technician position open in north central San Antonio near 1604 & 281. Busy two doctor practice in need of energetic, personable, customer service orientated teammate to perform technician duties. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. Duties include
· Greeting patients in friendly manner
· Taking medical history and communicating effectively with doctors
· Performing special testing ordered by doctors
· Helping patients understand their insurance
· Being awesome
· Teaching patients to how insert, remove, and care for contact lenses
· Light cleaning
· Smiling
· Answering patient questions and taking phone calls
· Sometimes helping patients choose attractive frames and educate them about lens choices
