SIPA North America is part of a large foreign multi-national corporation that manufactures PET injection and blow molding equipment in Italy. SIPA is very technologically driven and is constantly improving on its already cutting-edge technology. Our website is www.sipa.it.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Represent SIPA in a professional manner.
- Aptitude to quickly learn injection and blow molding equipment rebuild and repair, including dismantling, wiring, assembling, installation and inspection.
- Willingness to learn how to work on machines.
- Willingness to travel as you grow with the company, up to 75% for technicians, including weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our offices are located very close to the International Terminal at Hartsfield Airport but you can live anywhere as long as you can fly to customers, so need to be within commuting distance of an international airport.
The recruiting process includes an online assessment, drug test, background and DMV check as well as reference checks. We are also looking for :
- Aptitude or mechanical or electrical experience and/or equivalent education.
- Aptitude to learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues such as malfunctioning parts, how to dismantle, replace, repair, know stress tolerances, etc and read/understand schematics.
- Aptitude to learn how to install and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Ability to do hands-on activities.
- Flexibility to work over week-ends if necessary.
- Computer literate and good command of the English language.
- Possess US driver’s license (mandatory) and ability to apply for a passport for international travel.
