Tier 1 Auto Supplier seeks an RF Engineer, responsible for antenna element design and/or low-noise amplifier design for automotive antenna applications.
Responsibilities:
- AM/FM, SDARS, GNSS, 4G-LTE &/or 5G, RF keyless entry, DSRC and other frequencies used in automotive applications
- Design and development of products to meet existing customer requirements
- Development of new innovative products for future automotive applications
- Design of passive receiving elements such as masts, glass antenna patters, and PCB type antenna structures
- Schematic and circuit board design
- Building and testing prototype designs, utilizing indoor facilities and a dedicated outdoor antenna range
- Recommend new tools for future process improvement

Mandatory Skills/Requirements:
- MS in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
- Background in passive antenna design & simulation and/or amplifier design or simulation
- Ability to use industry-standard software design tools for RF circuit development, schematic design, and PCB layout
- Experience with antenna simulation software (CST / HFSS or similar) is required
- Knowledge of field testing antenna systems
Desired Skills:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, with specific application to RF amplifiers and/or antenna element design
- Successful candidates will be self-motivated, with ability to work independently with minimal direction
