Large established Equestrian facility in the Hamptons looking for an experienced Business/Facility Manager. The Manager oversees the Hunter/Jumper and Dressage programs, show program, lessons and camp, boarding and training as well as the entire property and is a “hands on” position. The Manager is a catalyst for creating meaningful high performance standards of the staff and leading each within their area of responsibility.
Duties:
- Report to and work directly with CEO on day to day activities
- Oversee all facility landscaping, maintenance and repairs
- Recruit and hire all staff (combination of year round and seasonal staff)
- Oversee all staff including other management staff
- Deal with any necessary conflict resolution
- Oversee Care of all horses
- Weekly payroll
- Manage all employee HR and training
- Maintain vendor and client relationships
- Delegate and oversee completion of daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Weekly staff meetings
- Work with management team on ways in increase revenue
- Employee contracts
- Weekly employee schedule
- Annual employee reviews
- Weekly and monthly billing
- Provide organizational oversight of the Camps and Lesson program
- Be a strong team leader who is able to encourage productivity
- Facilitate the Wellington Florida winter program for hunter jumper and Dressage trainers
