Position Details:
- Full Time (40+ hrs. wk.)
- Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday (some Saturdays)
Job Duties and Tasks for: "Facilities Custodian"
- 1) Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- 2) Gather and empty trash.
- 3) Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- 4) Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- 5) Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
- 6) Clear debris from grounds.
- 7) Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- 8) Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- 9) Set up, arrange, and remove, tables, chairs and prepare facilities for events and meetings.
- 10) Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- 11) Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- 12) Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- 13) Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- 14) Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- 15) Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
- 16) Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- 17) Drive company vehicles including vans, cars, industrial trucks and forklift.
- 18) Painting odd jobs and landscaping
- 19) Duties are not limited to the above listed and may include duties directed by management, within the scope of individuals skill set.
No Experience Necessary,
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work on your own,
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Clean driving record.
